About

Perspective & Experience

My work focuses on helping organizations navigate complex technology initiatives—particularly where AI, governance, security, and organizational reality intersect. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across federal-adjacent programs, nonprofits, education, and large organizations, often in environments where reliability, accountability, and coordination matter more than speed or novelty.

Much of my experience has involved supporting high-impact customers and programs while operating within consulting, nonprofit, academic, and delivery organizations. In these roles, the real work—and real accountability—has consistently been tied to the missions, constraints, and expectations of the organizations being served.

This perspective shapes how I approach AI and technology delivery: with respect for institutional complexity, regulatory environments, and the people responsible for outcomes.

How I’ve Worked With These Organizations

Across these environments, my role has often involved:

  • Translating complex technical concepts into actionable plans for non-technical leaders

  • Coordinating multi-stakeholder programs across organizational boundaries

  • Supporting compliance, security, and governance requirements

  • Delivering AI-enabled and data-driven solutions responsibly

  • Managing risk, change, and adoption in regulated contexts

This work has required operating comfortably between:

  • technical teams

  • leadership

  • compliance and security stakeholders

  • external partners

  • end users

The common thread has been delivery under real constraints.

Approach

I approach technology—and AI in particular—as a supporting capability, not a replacement for judgment or governance. Across different sectors, the principles that have proven most durable are consistent:

  • AI works best as decision support, not decision replacement

  • Human oversight is essential in regulated and high-stakes environments

  • Security, privacy, and compliance must be designed in from the start

  • Adoption and change management determine long-term success

These principles guide how I think about AI implementation, program leadership, and responsible delivery.

Credentials & Background

My background includes:

  • Master’s-level technical education

  • Project and program leadership credentials (PMP, CSM)

  • Security and governance training (CISSP – Associate, Security+)

  • Experience delivering across federal, nonprofit, academic, and enterprise contexts

I combine formal training with hands-on delivery experience to help organizations move from uncertainty to clarity.

Why This Matters

Organizations today are under pressure to adopt AI while navigating increasing regulatory, security, and operational complexity. Having worked across both innovative environments and high-accountability systems, I bring a perspective grounded in what actually works—not just what is theoretically possible.
